Thomas O'SheaTom co-founded Megan & O'Shea LLC with David Megan in October 2006. At Megan & O'Shea, Tom focuses his practices on implementing estate planning strategies from the simple to the sophisticated, and also devotes significant time to the administration of estates and trusts. Prior to establishing Megan & O'Shea, Tom spent over six years in the Private Client Department in the Boston office of WilmerHale LLP (formerly Hale and Dorr LLP). Tom earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Dartmouth College and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Boston College Law School. Tom lectured on "New Developments in Estate Planning Practice" at the Boston Bar Association's 2006 "Estate Planning - The Year in Review" seminar, and also served as co-presenter for a seminar on estate planning approaches to the payment of educational expenses at a September 2007 Boston Bar Association meeting. Tom was named a "Rising Star" in the estate planning and probate field in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 by Massachusetts Super Lawyers, appearing each year in "Boston Magazine" and the annual "Massachusetts Super Lawyers - Rising Star" publication (now the "New England Super Lawyers - Rising Star" edition). Tom is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council, as well as the Boston Bar Association and Massachusetts Bar Association. |
